As this was the last week of the Thunderbird Circuit, some special awards were presented just before Sunday’s $126,000 CSI3* Grand Prix. A couple of our riders were recognized:
JEFF CAMPF was awarded a new Hunter 2Gs for his leading performances on CERAFINA, CHEVEJO NB, CARTIANO Z, and APHRODITE M in the CWD 2G 1.30m Jumper for the entirety of the Thunderbird circuit.
AISLINN LAMOREAUX quickly rose to the Circuit Reserve Championship in the 1.10m Children’s Jumper for her placings on her own VETYVER DU BOIS, and also aboard her mom’s horse, ZADON.
Congratulations to everyone on a wonderful two weeks in Langley!

Thunderbird Summer Fort Classic – August 11 – 16, 2015

We brought most of the crew to the beautiful Thunderbird Showpark in Langley, BC to show for two weeks at the Summer Fort Classic and the Summer Fort Festival. The first week offered an enormous amount of money for the upper-level jumpers, including the $126,000 CSI3* Longines FEI World Cup Qualifier. During the WCHR-sanctioned second week, a $2,500 USHJA Derby was offered as well a $15,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby held in the Grand Prix field. There were so many quality horses and riders at this horse show, making great competition and equally good spectating 

Oregon High Desert Classic II – July 22 – 26, 2015

We arrived in Bend for the second week of the Oregon High Desert Classic horse shows. This week was a WCHR sanctioned event featuring several great classes: $25,000 Sherri Allis Memorial Grand Prix; $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby; $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby; $2,500 Mini Prix; $1,000 Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic; $1,000 Junior/Amateur Owner Hunter Classic. The surrounding city of Bend always offers a great atmosphere and a thriving food and outdoor entertainment scene. A good time was had by all :)

Along with being award Leading Junior Rider, BAILEY SMITH finished 2nd in the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby with her PAPYRUS. Great job, Bailey!
