Week III held continued success in the desert for team Oz!
Shelley and Pirouette beat out 77 entries to claim first prize in the Low Hunters. Pirouette and Shawna Dash also grabbed the blue ribbon in the Amateur Owner 3’3” Handy Round. Bryan Laycoe and Lacaro Z received the Reserve Championship in the Adult Amateur 55 & Over Division.
Katherine Dash topped one of the Equitation 12-13 classes, and Bailey Smith had continued fortune in the 14-15 Equitation Division, ending up Reserve Champion.
The Jumpers were in great form this week. Jeff grabbed the blue ribbon in the Level 3 on Tami Majer’s Camaran CR. Stephanie Osmond’s Je Revel came out on top with Jeff in the Level 5. Jeff also won a Level 4 class on Kate William‘s Disco. Kristin Cox and Musketeer were Reserve Champion in the Adult 18-35, and Leslie Cox and Cassius grabbed the Reserve Championship in the Adult 50 & Over.
Jeff rode both Apache Joe and Cartiano Z in the Sunday Grand Prix. The class had 66 starts, and both had good performances.
