Spring National Hunter 2013 – Monroe, Washington

Oz had a wonderful start to the Northwest show season at the Spring National Hunter week in Monroe, Washington.

Shelley dominated the First Years, winning the Championship on Shawna Dash’s Pirouette and the Reserve Championship on Diane Laycoe’s Perseverance. Tara and Lauren Ransone’s First Lady were class winners in the division.

Tara won the Tri-Color on Alexandra Ulmer’s Wembley in the Green Conformation. Shelley took home the Championship in the High Performance on Le Cavalier, owned by Robin Kellogg and the Reserve on Chandler MeadowsLegatus.

Shelley and Robin Kellogg’s Bertolucci won Championship honors in the Pre-Green 3’3” with Kilkenny Crest’s Kilkenny Chancellor grabbing the Reserve Tri-Color in both the Pre-Green 3’ and Small Hunter divisions. Shelley and Lexie Franklin’s Rendition were Champion in the Smalls.

Shawna Dash and Pirouette claimed the Championship in the Amateur Owner Hunters as well as the Reserve Championship in the Adult Equitation 18-49. Lauren Ransone was right behind them, grabbing the Reserve Tri-Color in the Adult Eq 18-49 division. Katherine Dash and Greyscale were Reserve Champion in the 15 & Under Junior Hunters.

Shelley was named Leading Professional Rider AND Leading Hunter Rider.  Shawna Dash claimed the Leading Amateur Owner Rider award.
