Team Oz has continued success during Week III of Thermal!
No surprise that LESLIE COX again walked away with the championship in the High Adult jumpers, only this time with CASSIUS. SUSAN BERNARD and BONGO were additional class winners in the division.
PLAYLIST, owned by ALEXANDRA ZELL, carried forward his good momentum from last week and clinched the Reserve Championship in the Pre-Green Hunters with Shelley.
Some other significant wins were EMILY PERKINS in the 12-13 Equitation on the flat, STEPHANIE VON GORTLER and her RUMOR HAS IT in the 36 – 45 Adult Hunter Under Saddle, and ROBIN KELLOGG aboard MAGGIE DENNIS’S HOLOGRAM in the High Adult Jumpers.
DIANE LAYCOE’S PERSEVERENCE finished 3rd with Shelley among a competitive line-up in the $10,000 Platinum Performance Hunter Prix. They had a remarkable first-round score of 88!
The Mid-Circuit Awards were presented during the week, and we were very happy to have some of our horses and riders recognized:
EMILY PERKINS was awarded Mid-Circuit Champion in the 12 – 13 Equitation.
LESLIE COX and MUSKETEER were Mid-Circuit Champions in the High Adult Jumpers.
MADISON CAMERON and WIBERRA won the Mid-Circuit Championship in the High Amateur Owner Jumpers.
STEPHANIE VON GORTLER was names Mid-Circuit Reserve Champion the Equitation 36-45.
