This past week was another rewarding one for the jumpers at the Showpark Ranch & Coast Classic!
Our congratulations to SUSAN BERNARD and BONGO for riding to the championship in the Adult Amateur Jumpers this week! They were 1st, 3rd, and 7th in a large and competitive field. Additionally, the pair were placed 3rd in an open 1.10m class. Great job, Susan and Bongo!
VETYVER DU BOIS and owner MADISON CAMERON together earned the Reserve Championship in the 1.30m Jr/AO Jumper division!
KATE WILLIAMS and DISCO produced some fantastic rounds in the Adult Amateur Jumper division, bringing home a 2nd, 5th, and 8th in the division. Disco also won a 1.10m Jumper class early in the week with Jeff aboard.
SAMANTHA ORTMAN and her ZALOUBET were consistent competitors in the 1.35m Jumper and the High Jr/AO Jumper division. We’re excited to see what’s ahead for this talented pair!
Team Oz was represented by three pairs in Thursday’s $25,000 Markel Insurance Grand Prix: Jeff had the ride on both DAVID ROBINSON’S UNION and ZEIDLER FARM’S RANVILLE, and MADISON CAMERON rode her own WIBERRA. It was a tough enough track to slim down the field of 94 entries (!!!). All three horses aptly navigated the course and jumped very well, but unfortunately finished out of the money.
In additional to a great experience in the Grand Prix, MADISON CAMERON and WIBERRA were 2nd in a High Jr/AO division class and 6th in the $10,000 Junior/AO Jumper Classic. Congratulations, Madison!
