What a fantastic week at the WCHR Pacific Northwest H/J Show in Monroe!
Again, Oz riders and horses represented the team remarkably. Division Champions included:
ZEPPELIN, owned by KORINA WINKLER and shown by Shelley, in the Combined Green/Regular Conformation Hunters;
PLAYLIST, owned by ALEXANDRA ZELL and shown by Shelley, the Pre-Green Hunters;
KERA MCCANDLESS and her own SORCERER in both the 14 – 15 Equitation and the 3’6” Junior Working Hunters;
GETTYSBURG, owned and ridden by EMILY PERKINS in the 3’3” Junior Working Hunters;
PIROUETTE, owned and shown by SHAWNA DASH in the Amateur Owner Working Hunters;
and CASSIUS and owner/rider LESLIE COX in the High Adult Amateur Jumpers.
Division Reserve Champions included:
CONVICTION, owned by BRITENEY MERCER and shown by Shelley in the Pre-Green Hunters;
EMILY PERKINS and her GETTYSBURG in the 12 – 13 Equitation;
KATHERINE DASH and her own MANDELA in the 14 – 15 Equitation;
ADAM 12, owned by Oz Investments and ridden by GRACE SPIEGEL, in the Children’s Working Hunter 14 & Under;
PLAYLIST, owned and ridden by ALEXANDRA ZELL, in the Adult Amateur Working Hunters;
RENDITION, owned by Lexie Franklin and piloted by KATHERINE DASH, in the 3’6” Junior Working Hunter;
ZEPPELIN, owned and shown by KORINA WINKLER, in the Long Stirrup Hunters;
MUSKETEER, owned by BLUE MEADOWS, LLC and ridden by both Leslie and Kristin Cox, in the High Adult Amateur Jumpers;
OREAL, owned by JAMIE BOND and shown by both Jamie and Dustin, in the 1.10m Jumpers;
and E-MAGINE, owned by SUSAN BERNARD and ridden by Dustin in the 0.95m Jumpers.
Some additional class winners were:
PIROUETTE and Shelley in the 3’3” Performance Working Hunter Under Saddle;
HE’S TOTALLY SUNNY and Dustin in the Training Working Hunter Under Saddle;
and CAYMAN in the 1.20m Jumpers with both Dustin and owner KERA MCCANDLESS.
Our special congratulations again to KERA MCCANDLESS and SORCERER, who were the big winners in the featured $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby on Saturday night! Congratulations on a banner week, you two!
