The $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby was the featured class Friday evening, with a beautiful course and great atmosphere. DIANE LAYCOE’s PERSEVERENCE bested the class of 30 with Shelley aboard. Congratulations! Other ribbon winners in the class were:
5th – LISA LAMOREAUX’s INVERNESS and Dustin
6th – ZIZI ZELL’s PLAYLIST and Shelley
8th – KORINA WINKLER’s ZEPPELIN and Shelley
10th – AMY BERMAN’s MORRISON and Dustin
Both the $1,500 1.15 Mini Prix and the $10,000 1.30m Jumper Classic were held Sunday afternoon.
Lots of clear first rounds meant a fast a competitive jump-off. Jeff and LISA LAMOREAUX’s CERAFINA were just off the winning time to finish 2nd. Other ribbon winners were:
3rd – TAMI MAJER and her own CARTIANO Z
4th – STEPHANIE CLARK’s BOLIVIA with Jeff
5th – TAMI MAJER and her AMIGO
In the 1.30m Classic, Oz horses and riders found their way to the top of the leaderboard:
Winner – TAMI MAJER’s CARTIANO Z, this time the Jeff aboard
2nd – WIBERRA and owner MADISON CAMERON
4th – OZ INVESTMENTS’ APACHE JOE, also shown by Jeff.
