Team NW’s Spring Hunter Jumper – March 2012

The Team NW Spring Hunter & Jumper show in Boring, Oregon is the kick-off to the A rated show schedule in Oregon. Oz attended with a small group and took the show by storm. It was great to reunite our group after being away in Thermal.

Puppet, owned by Katherine Dash was Champion in the Performance Hunter 3’3″ with Shelley and Reserve Champion in the Children’s Hunters with Katherine. Additionally, Katherine won a class in the 17 and under Equitation division.

Barcelona, owned and ridden by Emily Perkins swept the Pony Hunter division to take the championship. Emily also won the Pony Equitation on the flat.

Lexie Grant rode her Rendition to the Championship in the 18 & over Equitation division. The pair also won the Team NW Medal, the Ariat Medal, as well as the Adult Hunter Under Saddle. In addition, Rendition was Champion in the Small Hunter division with Shelley.

Clockwork, owned by Annie Paselk was Champion in the Training Hunter with Tara Niculescu and Champion in the Pre-Children’s Hunter Division with Annie. Annie and Clockwork also won the Team NW Starter Medal.

Exposure was Reserve Champion in the Performance Huner 3’3″ with Shelley and won three classes in a row with Alexandra Zell. Alexandra was only able to show the one day so any championship honors escaped the pair.

The jumper group did well too.

Apache Joe and Jeff Campf won the first 1.20 jumper class and David Robinson finished the divison with two wins on his own Valdemar.

Great Job everyone!!
