The Country Classic Preview was very low key and really fun. We are pleased to say that Oz horses and riders were showing their typical winning ways. \u00a0<\/p>\n
In the hunter ring, Championships were awarded to Exposure in the First Year Green, Perseverance in the Baby Green and Greyscale with Maggie Dennis in the Junior\/AO Hunters. \u00a0Reserve Champions included Encore in the First Year Green, Voila in the Performance Working Hunter 3\u20196 and Adriana in the Training Hunter 2\u20196. \u00a0Diane Laycoe and Perseverance won the under saddle and an over fence class in the Pre Adult division on her new horse.\u00a0 Shelley won two Pre Green classes \u2013 one on Mon Avis and one on Perseverance and Tara won a Performance Hunter 3\u20196\u201d class on Pendleton.<\/p>\n
\u00a0In the USHJA National Hunter Classic, Madison and Legatus Finished 4th<\/sup>, Black Pearl and Shelley 5th<\/sup>, and Maggie and Greyscale came in 6th<\/sup>. In the first ever Local Hunter Derby, Kimberley Bruce rode Black Pearl to a second place finish with a sensational handy round.<\/p>\n Oz rose to the top of the equitation divisions with Korina Winkler receiving the tri-colors in the Long Stirrup Equitation, Madison Cameron earning the Championship \u00a0in the 16-17 Equitation and Maggie Dennis finishing as the Reserve Champion 16-17. The battle of the girls reversed itself in the OHJA medal where Maggie came out victorious and Madison placed second.<\/p>\n The Jumper side of the field never lets us down. \u00a0Lenamore Cavalier was Champion in the .85m and Musketeer and Kaylee Cox were Champions in the Modified Junior\/ Amateurs. Chanel and Ali Majer were Reserve Champion in the High Children\u2019s Jumpers, Kantos and Kimberley Bruce were Reserve Champions in the Low Adult Jumpers and Tami Majer\u2019s entry, Cartiano Z, was Reserve Champion in the Young Jumper division with Jeff. Kantos and Kimberley also won in the .95m and Apache Joe won a class in the 1.20m.<\/p>\n Jeff and Kantos topped the field in the Team NW 1.15m Mini Prix \u00a0and are leading the standings to win the golf cart.\u00a0 The $10,000 Team NW Jumper Classic was a great class with Jeff and Apache Joe finishing second and Madison and Wiberra finishing third.<\/p>\n Congratulations to everyone \u2013 we are proud to have you on our team!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Country Classic Preview was very low key and really fun.
