After a successful showing at the Country Classic Preview, Oz remained consistent at the Country Classic, with the barn receiving multiple championships and awards – so consistent, in fact, that Jeff and Leslie shared the same injury.\u00a0 They both broke their left hand on the same jump. Statistically not very likely.\u00a0 They should have bought lottery tickets.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Champions in the jumper divisions included Wiberra and Madison Cameron in the Medium Junior Amateur, as well as Kantos and Kimberly Bruce in the Low Adult. Chanel and Ali Majer were Reserve Champions in the High Children\u2019s Jumper. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0Oz domination was fully shown in the hunters and equitation. Shelley Campf was Champion in both the Baby Green and 4&5 Year Old with Perseverance, and Reserve Champion in the same divisions on Mon Avis. Rendition and Lexie Grant were Champions in the Children\u2019s Hunter, while Legatus and Madison Cameron won the tri-color in the Equitation 16-17. The championships continued with Perseverance and Diane Laycoe in the Pre-Adult, Night Song and Tara Niculescu in the Pre-Green 3\u20193\u201d, Mon Avis and Shelley Campf in the Pre-Green 3\u2019, and Adriana and Tara Niculescu in the Training Hunter 2\u20196\u201d. Oz swept the Junior Hunter 16-17, with Greyscale and Maggie Dennis winning the Championship and Pendleton and Paige Hamilton taking home Reserve.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Individual class winners were also abundant at the Country Classic. Shelley Campf won a First Year Green class on both Rendition and Encore, while Jeff Campf received the blue in the First Year Green under saddle aboard Exposure. Legatus and Madison Cameron were first in a Junior Working Hunter class, and Voila and Avery Worthington won the division\u2019s under saddle class. Adriana and Jane Hood won the Long Stirrup under saddle, and Adriana and Tara Niculescu also won the Schooling Hunter 3\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Legatus and Madison Cameron won yet another USET, and Hologram and Maggie Dennis took home 6th<\/sup> in the class. Paige Hamilton was 3rd<\/sup>in the Pessoa, while Avery Worthington received 4th<\/sup>. Avery Worthington and Trick also won the OHJA Junior\/Senior Medal.\u00a0 Madison Cameron and Legatus won top billing in the $1,000 Hunter Handy Classic, followed by Greyscale and Maggie Dennis in 3rd<\/sup>, Exposure and Shelley Campf in 5th<\/sup>, and Pendleton and Tara Niculescu in 7th<\/sup>. Shelley Campf took home 4th<\/sup> on Black Pearl and 7th<\/sup>on Snow Patrol in the $2,500 National Hunter Derby. Despite the POURING rain on Sunday, and suffering from a broken hand, Kantos and Jeff Campf were 4th<\/sup>in the Mini Prix, followed by Musketeer and Kaylee Cox in 6th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Madison Cameron was awarded the Best Child Rider award. This award is awarded to the junior rider that the judges subjectively choose to be the most consistently successful junior rider at the show.<\/p>\n
