The Oregon Summer Show<\/strong> was the first of the two final Team NW Equestrian Sports shows of the season. Oz horses and riders dominated in their respective divisions as well as the special classes and finals that took place.
\nOz had a fantastic week in the hunters and equitation:<\/p>\n

Perhaps the biggest winners of the week were\u00a0Maggie Dennis<\/strong> and Alexandra Ulmer. <\/strong>Maggie and\u00a0her horse Greyscale<\/strong> won both the OHJA Junior& Senior Medal Final<\/strong> as well as the Hillcrest Medal Final<\/strong>. In addition, the pair was Reserve Champion in the 16-17 Equitation division. Alexandra\u00a0 too, bested her peer group winning the OHJA Children’s \u00a0Medal Final<\/strong> and Hillcrest Children’s Medal Final on Wembley<\/strong>. This pair won in the Children’s Hunter division also. Great domination girls!<\/p>\n

Perseverance<\/strong> had a really successful week and was Champion in both the Baby Green Hunters with Shelley and in the Pre-Adult Hunters with Diane Laycoe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Encore<\/strong> was Champion with Shelley in the Green Working Hunter and also showed in the Pre-Adult Hunters with Diane<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rendition<\/strong> and Shelley were Reserve Champion in the Green Working Hunter.<\/p>\n

Exposure<\/strong> and Alexandra Zell<\/strong> were Reserve Champion in the Adult Amateur Hunter.<\/p>\n

Kate Williams<\/strong> rode Adam 12<\/strong> to the Championship in the Adult Amateur Equitation.<\/p>\n

Korina Winkler<\/strong> won the Long Stirrup Equitation on the flat class.<\/p>\n

Pendleton<\/strong> and Paige Hamiliton<\/strong> won the Junior\/AO hunter under saddle. Paige was also Champion in the 16-17 Equitation, won the OHJA qualifying Medal, placed 9th in the OHJA Junior\/Senior Medal Final and received 8th in the Hillcrest Medal Final.<\/p>\n

Swagger <\/strong>won the Green Working Hunter handy with Tara Niculescu. Vivian Keller<\/strong> also rode Swagger to a 4th place finish in the OHJA Junior\/Senior Medal Final and a 6th place finish in the Hillcrest Final.<\/p>\n

Shelley and Legatus<\/strong> were Reserve Champion in the Performance Working Hunter 3\u20196 division. Madison Cameron<\/strong> and Legatus also layed down an amazing first round of the OHJA Medal Final and ultimately finished 6th.<\/p>\n

Oz dominated the\u00a0USHJA National Hunter Classic<\/strong>. Encore<\/strong> and Shelley won this prestigious class,\u00a0Exposure<\/strong> and Shelley were second, Legatus<\/strong> and Shelley took home fourth, Pendleton<\/strong> and Tara received 6th and Greyscale<\/strong> and Maggie placed 8th.<\/p>\n

The Oz Jumpers\u00a0 were great too:<\/p>\n

The $10,000 Team NW Jumper Classic<\/strong> had good finishes for the Oz team.\u00a0Jeff and Wiberra<\/strong> were 2nd, Hologram<\/strong> and Maggie Dennis were 5th,\u00a0Apache Joe<\/strong> and Jeff were 6th, and Cartiano Z<\/strong> and Jeff finished in 7th.<\/p>\n

Leslie Cox<\/strong> rode Lenamore Cavalier <\/strong>to the Championship in the Low Adult Jumpers.<\/p>\n

Kantos<\/strong> and Kimberly Bruce<\/strong> were Reserve Champions in both the 1.10m and in the Low Adult Jumper divisions.<\/p>\n

Wiberra<\/strong> and Jeff were Reserve Champion in the 1.30m Jumpers.<\/p>\n

Apache Joe<\/strong> and Jeff won in the 1.30m.<\/p>\n

Chanel<\/strong> and Alexandra Majer<\/strong> won in the High Children\u2019s Jumpers and,<\/p>\n

Hologram <\/strong>and Maggie Dennis<\/strong> won in the Junior Jumpers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
