The Spring National Jumper<\/strong> show in Seattle was a huge success\u00a0for Oz <\/strong>horses and riders. Here are some of our highlights:<\/p>\n

\u00a0The Spring National Grand Prix<\/strong> is always a great class. Lea Snyder<\/strong> and Hakuna Matata<\/strong> had a great evening jumping around with two rails. Jetset<\/strong> and Jeff Campf<\/strong> had a good round as well, but unfortunately had one rail at the end of the course. Bon Figlioli<\/strong> ridden by Kendall Bourgeois<\/strong> and London<\/strong> ridden by Jeff Campf<\/strong> were the first two clean rounds in the class, and ended up jumping off against four others. Bon Figlioli <\/strong>and Kendall <\/strong>were really trying to set an unbeatable pace but ran into a little difficulty and finished sixth. London <\/strong>and Jeff<\/strong> finished second. The pair were double clean and very fast holding the lead until the last horse went. London<\/strong> and Jeff<\/strong> also won<\/strong> the Open Welcome<\/strong> 1.40 m class earlier in the week. Jeff<\/strong> was awarded High-Point Professional Rider<\/strong> for the show.<\/p>\n

\u00a0J\u2019Adore<\/strong> and Colleen Biemer<\/strong> won a Junior\/ Amateur<\/strong> jumper class. \u00a0Kanto<\/strong>s earned a red ribbon in the Junior\/ Amateur<\/strong>, won<\/strong> a 1.20<\/strong> m class, and was third in the Far Point Farm Futures<\/strong> class with Madison Cameron<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Val d\u2019Isere<\/strong> and Hayley Shafer<\/strong> were Reserve Champion<\/strong> in the 1.10<\/strong> m Adult<\/strong> Jumpers and were fifth in their classic. Leslie Cox<\/strong> and Lenamore Cavalier<\/strong> \u00a0were Champion 1.00<\/strong> m Adult Jumper<\/strong>. Lesli<\/strong>e also was awarded High Point Adult Jumper Rider<\/strong> for the show. Great job adults!<\/p>\n

\u00a0Musketeer <\/strong>with Kendall Bourgeois<\/strong> riding was Champion<\/strong> in the 1.15\u00a0<\/strong>m Jumper, and Kaylee Cox<\/strong> earned ribbons on him in the 1.10 m Children\u2019s.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Liza Wheeler<\/strong> and Concerta<\/strong> came to join us for the weekend and had a great show. The pair ended up with a clear round in the Futures, and won<\/strong> Sunday\u2019s Junior<\/strong> Amateur Classic<\/strong>. Jaimie Ackerman<\/strong> and Red Legend<\/strong> were second in the Modified Junior Amateur Classic<\/strong>. Red Legend<\/strong> was also Reserve Champion<\/strong> in the 1.10<\/strong> m.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The equitation kids were terrific! Vivian Keller <\/strong>and Little Miss Sunshine<\/strong> had a good weekend, placing in almost every equitation class, and also earning a ribbon in the Children\u2019s 1.10 m. Maggie Dennis<\/strong> and Confusion<\/strong> ended up third in the ASPCA<\/strong> Maclay<\/strong> to start off their weekend. Colleen Biemer<\/strong> wasn\u2019t far behind winning the WIHS Hunter Phase<\/strong> with Night Cap<\/strong>. Madison Cameron<\/strong> was there to catch the rest, winning the WIHS Jumper Phase<\/strong>, the WIHS Overall<\/strong>, and the USEF Talent Search<\/strong>. Madison<\/strong> and Legatus<\/strong> were also second in the USEF Pessoa Medal<\/strong>, which secured Madison<\/strong> as the recipient of the High-Point Equitation Rider<\/strong> award.
