Oregon High Desert Classic #1 – Bend, Oregon

Oz attended the first week of the Oregon High Desert Classic in Bend and had a lot of success against some tough competition.

Championships went to Snow Patrol and Shelley in the Non- Thoroughbred Working Hunters, Greyscale and Shelley in the Conformation Hunters, Pendleton and Paige Hamilton in the Large Junior Hunter 16-17 and Alexandra Zell in the Adult Equitation 50 and Over. On the jumper side of the field, Kantos earned the tri-colors with both Jeff in the 1.10m Jumpers and Kimberly Bruce in the .90m Adult Amateur Jumpers.

Rendition and Lexie Grant were Reserve Champions in the Childrens Hunter 15-17 and Shelley rode Exposure to the Reserve Championship in the Conformation Hunters. Lastly, Madison Cameron and Wiberra were Reserve Champion in the AO/ Junior Jumpers.

Cartiano Z won a 1.25m class as well as the YJC seven and eight year old qualifying class with Jeff. Alexandra Majer and Chanel placed 3rd in the Childrens Jumper Classic and Paige Hamilton received 3rd in the USEF/Pessoa medal.

After a challenging handy round in the International Hunter Derby, Legatus and Shelley finnished 5th and Greyscale and Maggie Dennis placed 10th.

Unfortunately Madison Cameron broke her ankle on Friday morning but will not require surgery.
