At the conclusion of the circuit, all the points for second-half and full-circuit championships were tallied and awards presented in the Parade of Champions, just before the start of the AIG $1,000,000 Grand Prix. All of our previously mentioned horses and riders were invited to participate.
Apart from circuit championships, other special awards were presented, and among them was the Heart of the Horse trophy. This trophy is presented each year to the horse accruing the most circuit points in their respective division. For the second consecutive year, this award was presented to 23-year old MUSKETEER with owner, rider, groom, and fairy godmother LESLIE COX for their outstanding performance in the High Adult Jumpers for the duration of the circuit. We’d like to offer our huge congratulations to them both!
